Pam Scott

Associate Vice President, Communications

Pam Scott is the AVP for External Communications for the Office of University Relations, responsible for publicizing the university as a premier institution of higher learning, research. Previously the Vice President of Corporate Communications for Red Lion Hotels Corporation, a public hotel company based in Washington state, she oversaw media and investor relations, internal communications, crisis communications, guest relations and social media. Scott honed her communications skills working for the Spokane Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Spokesman-Review and KGUN 9 News and began her public relations career at the Arizona Health Sciences Center and The University of Arizona, where she earned a degree in journalism. Scott has served on the boards of the March of Dimes and Greater Spokane Chapter of Public Relations Society of America and on the publicity committee of Washington Tourism Alliance.
