Holly Jensen is a communications, national security, and foreign policy expert. She is currently the Vice President of Communications at the University of Arizona. Her responsibilities include managing the institution’s central communications, coordinating the university’s Covid-19 reentry communication efforts, and managing the UA News team. Prior to this she was the Director of Public Affairs for the Hostage Recovery Fusion Cell, where she coordinated public messaging for international hostage cases. Previously she served as the Director of Crisis Response at the Department of State. Holly coordinated the Department’s public messaging and outreach efforts to American Citizens abroad during international crisis. Prior to joining the Department of State, Ms. Jensen was a Broadcast Journalist in the United States Army. She was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she filmed, wrote, voiced and edited news stories aired by American Forces Network and The Pentagon Channel. Ms. Jensen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Arizona.
