The role of University of Arizona Marketing & Brand Management is to focus, clarify and articulate the Arizona brand to differentiate it and maximize our competitive advantage as we pursue the funding and talent needed to tackle grand challenges. We aim to be collaborative leaders, conveners and connectors. We also seek to be the expert resource, crafting tools and resources to help University of Arizona marketers succeed.
University Communications advances the reputation and priorities of the University of Arizona by producing and distributing news about the university, managing relationships with the media and expanding public understanding of the value and our land-grant mission at the local, regional, national and global level. The team acts as the primary liaison with the media and is responsible for identifying, producing, pitching and tracking news stories and multimedia content about the most significant achievements and activities across the university.
